Clinical Preparation Process
Although you have some time until you reach your clinical courses, it is necessary to start preparing for this experience now. In order to provide you with resources that will be beneficial throughout your program, you will be asked to engage in two clinical course-related activities this week.
The first activity involves accessing the
Getting Started/Welcome! in the MFT Clinical Support module. Review each resource including:
· Welcome Letter
· Clinical Experience Welcome Video
· Clinical Preparation Checklist
Additional resources are available and provide state-specific requirements for the program and licensure.
Once you select a time that works for you, you will need to fill in your contact information and answer these brief prompts:

Getting Started/Welcome! In MFT Clinical Support
The second activity this week involves you completing a JotForm that will be sent to the Clinical Administrative Team. You will be asked to do the following:
· Provide your contact information.
· Indicate your understanding of clinical training expectations.
· Share your projected availability for the clinical training experience.
· Indicate site and supervisor options in your area.
· Identify any potential clinical barriers.
· Indicate any further follow-up that you need at this time.
MFT Clinical Support modules resources are available for you to print for your records.
Weekly Resources and Assignments
Review the resources from the Course Resources link, located in the top navigation bar, to prepare for this week’s assignments. The resources may include textbook reading assignments, journal articles, websites, links to tools or software, videos, handouts, rubrics, etc.

https://form.jotform.com/SMFSNCU/clinical-prep-form.
After you successfully complete and submit the JotForm, you will receive an email that includes a PDF of all of your responses. Submit that PDF in NCU One to show you have successfully completed the assignment.
